The story behind us:
RobertRobert started his pursuit of the universe at age 15, his goal to
see deeper and better into the wonders of creation and to capture part
of it. Surely this is a common pursuit of most amateur astronomers,
who are involved for the simple fascination of the subject.
With such an interest in Outer Space, his career started with a degree
as an Aerospace engineer (ie, a Rocket Scientist). Microprocessors and
personal computing were just taking off at that time and he was swept up
in its advance, and turned to developing software.
As an adult, his desire to share his love and interest for this most
intriguing celestial object, the Moon, led him to develop our products.
As an amateur astronomer, he has always been a strong
proponent of telescope making and enjoy the challenges of creating
affordable telescopes. This led to his becoming an amateur optician, and
to date he has made or assisted others in making over three dozen
telescope mirrors, up to 24 inches in diameter.
Mike
Mike is an amateur photographer and avid sky observer. He is primarly a planetary photographer, interested in high-resolution photography and exacting all the detail he can get out of his images.
Mike's interest in the Moon has always been great, not too suprisingly - he grew up during the heady days of the American Apollo missions to land man on the
Moon. And then there was the movie 2001:
A Space Odyssey to really send his imagination soaring.
